Doodling.
I can’t believe it took me 29 days to come up with simply doodling.

There is no rhyme or reason other than my brain works in simple straight lines from one idea to another:

“Oh this ghost kinda reminds me of a jellyfish.  Oh! Jellyfish! Ocean! What’s my favorite thing to spot when diving? Octopus!” and so on and so forth. Probably didn’t help that I spent the last two days trying to renew my Divemaster status so diving really was on my mind.

It’s not lost on me that this is just a visual version of the morning pages. Mostly I think I was checking to see if I can still create something with no reference. I can, it just requires actively turning off the critical observer in my head and just letting my hands and the unaware part of my brain take the lead.
